Freddy`s Frozen Custard in Wichita

Love the food here! The steakburgers are thin and delicious. The hotdogs are served on a good bun. And the shoestring fries are always made fresh!! If those weren't reasons enough to make your day, try the fry seasoning and two kinds of fry sauce! I prefer the jalapeno fry sauce. Which has a good flavor and a hint of spice... Nothing that will make you sweat

Food is top notch for fast food.

You won't find a better steakburger. Don't even try. And the fries are amazing and crispy. I bring my son here for special mom and son time. He adores the concrete desserts.

Cheese fries were FIRE. Hot fresh and yummy...dipped in Freddy's jalapeno Freddy sauce was the perfect spice to every bite!

The custard here is absolutely amazing. I will often stop by just for custard but their food is exceptional as well. They exude a classic diner feel so well and their steak burgers are really top notch. I highly recommend the cheese fries too!

Dinner was fresh and hot! The burgers were pressed extra thin so they were a lot bigger than the bun and crisper than usual. Not a bad thing... just made it a little harder to handle. Thankfully, the fries were hot enough that they didn't end up cold half way through dinner, which is usually the case with those shoestring fries. In my opinion, there's usually nothing better than Freddy's custard. Tonight, though, the texture was off... more airy/whipped, maybe... and it didn't seem quite as cold as usual. Every place had an off night, now and then, I guess.

Always love Freddy's. I love their burgers fries and custards. They are all delicious. This is the original location so it is dine in only. Burgers are great. I think the singles are just perfect. The doubles are almost more meat than I want on a burger. I would always take Freddy's over any other burger joint.

Great burgers and fries! It’s our family’s favorite place to eat never had a bad experience! They also always come around to make sure you are enjoying the food and ask if there is anything they can do for you! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Hadn't tried Freddy's during Lent. Emily was so friendly (I didn't want a combo but when I added ice cream sandwiches at the end she knew that would qualify me and automatically added my total up as combos, thereby saving me 50 cents per sandwich). I also accidentally ordered to eat in rather than take home, but Tyler was so friendly and accommodating to switch out my order to go. Then Emily can back with a sack for my ice cream sandwiches so they could be separate from the hot food during my drive. Almost didn't make it home, the smell was so captivating! Great service, great food, friendly smiles, clean restaurant.

Poor customer service, cold food, and my order was not complete.

Food was delicious, as always. I was very happy to see that all of the staff was wearing masks. There are plastic barriers between the register and guests, and there are plastic barriers between all of the booths. 6 ft markers were placed for if there were a line for the register, and some seats are blocked off to aid in distancing. Was disappointed that many guests weren't wearing masks, that drinks were self-serve, and that dining in is an option.

If you order the cheese fries, ask for it to come in the to-go box! The cheese will soak through the paper, which then gets torn to shreds by your fork, even if your being careful. I might've eaten some saucy paper today. *shrugs* oh well. Otherwise, a great visit. Not too busy, so no wait. Quick service all around. Great taste for a cheap treat. As others have mentioned, the fry sauces are bomb. A touch of the jalapeno sauce adds a great flavor to the creamy nacho cheese without a lot of heat; it's like a the warm summer sun tickling your shoulders, but for your taste buds.*Also, none of this is meant to criticize the employees. They were simply doing what they were asked and working with what they were given by management. An employee was very quick to get me a to-go box to help with my order.

Ok this was a GREAT experience! The soccer team and I strolled in right after a game and of course we were starved. A couple of us took a pic with the card board cut out of Freddy in the front only to have THE REAL FREDDY walk in! He was super nice and humble. He even took a pic with us. That's a rockin memory 👌🏼Thanks Freddy!

Cashier didnt actually listen when I was ordering and it got messed up because of it. And there was a ton of rude people trying to get my service dogs attention.

First time trying Freddy's. If you are familiar with steak and shake, it is very similar but better. They were fast and clean. Not my favorite burger place but the staff was quick and food was fresh.

I always enjoy the food and experience. The only thing keeping this from five stars is the lack of consistency. Most times, the burgers are great, but sometimes they turn out paper thin. Same holds true for their concretes and the toppings mixed throughout. The fries are almost always good, though!

Was up all night throwing up and this is the only place I ate so I think I got food poisoning. Severe pain in the stomach all night long could not sleep

Good service and always a fav with the kiddos as well as the adults. Inexpensive hot dogs, thin & crispy signature string fries and great signature sauce! Personally I find the burgers too thin but if numbers don’t lie, then I’m wrong since I’m a minority on that opinion.

Great food. Bald guy seems angry at me for asking for the containers of sauce that they now keep behind the counter and only gave me 1 instead if the 2 i asked for. Parking isnt always great.
